Pemetaan Potensi Daerah Resapan Air Di Kecamatan Tuah Madani Dengan Berbasis Sistem Informasi Geografis
Increased development in Tuah Madani District has had the impact of increasing surface runoff and decreasing the rate of rainwater infiltration which has resulted in reduced water catchment areas and become watertight areas which cause rainwater to stagnate on the surface and floods occur. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research regarding determining water catchment areas. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is a technology that is still undergoing development. To determine the location of water catchment distribution, it is obtained from a scoring and overlay process using four parameters, namely soil type, rainfall, slope slope and land use. The water catchment area distribution map shows information in the form of existing conditions in Tuah Madani District, such as good condition with an area of 23, 9%, runoff (Q) 84,158 mm, infiltration (F) 43,888 mm, normal natural with an area of 45.8%, runoff (Q) 98.003 mm and infiltration (F) 34.178 mm, starting to be critical with an area of 28.4%, runoff ( Q) 123,441 mm and infiltration (F) 14,675 mm, slightly critical with an area of 1.7%, runoff (Q) 117,417 infiltration (F) 19,449 mm, and very critical red with an area of 0.2%, runoff (Q) 120.046 mm infiltration (F) 17.375 mm. The results show that surface runoff is greater and the infiltration rate is smaller in catchment areas whose conditions are worse.
