Roads are a vital means that need serious attention, so that the activities of people in a city can improve. Jalan Jenderal Sudirman is an area with orderly traffic and currently Jalan Sudirman has quite heavy traffic flow. As one of the arterial roads, road equipment facilities are certainly needed on this road. Therefore, the author is interested in analyzing the road equipment on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Pekanbaru. Because the equipment on the road is very important for a road to have. Based on the Regulation of the Director General of Land Transportation Number: SK/7234/AJ.401/DRJD/2013, a road is all parts of a road, including complementary buildings and equipment intended for public traffic, which are at ground level, above ground level, below ground level. land and air, as well as above the air surface, except railways, lorry roads and cable roads. There are still road equipment facilities on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman Pekanbaru that do not comply with the Regulation of the Director General of Land Transportation Number SK. 4303/AJ.002/DRJD/2013 concerning Technical Instructions for Road Equipment Maintenance.
