Evaluasi Kapasitas Saluran Drainase Di Dusun 4 Desa Aursati Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar
The drainage problem in Aursati Village, specifically in Hamlet 4, is currently facing quite a serious problem. Inundations and flooding often occur at several points during the rainy season due to the small dimensions and disconnected drainage channels. The aim of this research is to evaluate channel capacity and analyze alternative drainage management methods. Evaluation of drainage channel capacity is carried out by comparing the incoming discharge and the cross-sectional capacity of the channel. The main data used in this research are rainfall data for 2012-2021 and existing channel dimension data. This research uses ArcGIS software to determine the drainage channel catchment area. In this analysis, the planned discharge is obtained using hydrological analysis, namely the rational method of flood discharge with a return period of 2 years. Hydraulic analysis of channel cross-sectional capacity using Manning's equation. From the analysis and discussion, the results showed that there was one channel that did not meet the requirements, namely the Old CD channel with a planned discharge capacity of 0.03 m3/s which was not sufficient to accommodate a channel discharge of 0.05 m3/s. This is caused by the small dimensions of the channel and narrowing of the channel due to sedimentation. To overcome this problem, re-planning was carried out, namely by enlarging the channel dimensions so that the existing capacity could accommodate the passing discharge
