Hubungan Antara Penerimaan Intervensi Pelayanan Kesehatan Dengan Kejadian Stunting

Stunting is defined as failure to achieve linear growth as measured by the height of Age Z-score (HAZ) < -2SD according to the growth standard. In 2022, 20 urban villages were the focus locations for stunting reduction in Pekanbaru City. This study aims to determine the relationship between the acceptance of health care interventions and stunting. This research uses the observational method with a case-control approach carried out in the working areas of Puskesmas Limapuluh, Puskesmas Rumbai Bukit, and Puskesmas Tenayan Raya. The number of case samples was 75 respondents, and the control sample was 75 respondents. The independent variables in this study were given iron supplement tablets to pregnant women, monitoring growth and development in children under five years old, completing primary immunization for children under five years old, family planning program, and premarital health checks, while the dependent variables were stunting. Data analysis included univariate analysis with frequency distribution, bivariate analysis using a chi-square test at CI 95%, and multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression test. Population Attributable Risk of complete primary immunization was obtained at 34.1% and growth and development monitoring at 26.6%. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between monitoring growth and development in children under five years old (p = 0.028) and complete primary immunization (p = 0.018) with stunting while giving iron supplement tablets to pregnant women (p = 1,000), family planning acceptor (p = 0.489), and premarital health checks (p = 0.059) were not associated with stunting. The results of the multivariate analysis showed that not getting complete primary immunization became the dominant factor causing stunting in toddlers with an OR value of 2.32.
