Kata Batu Dalam Peribahasa Melayu: Analisis Semantik Inkuisitif
This research uses an inquisitive semantic approach that is still rarely used in Indonesia. Insequential semantics is a study that seeks to explore proverbs as objects more deeply to find out why and how an object can be used as a metaphor in the proverb. The data in this study is a Malay proverb with stone objects obtained from the Pusat Rujukan Persuratan Melayu (PRPM). Data is collected using recording techniques. The data analysis process goes through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The result obtained is that the stone is used as a parable in Malay proverbs because of its simple, worthless, and heavy characteristics.
