Ualitative research by taking research subjects as many as 5 (five) people. This research uses purposive techniques and data is collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The theory used is role theory by Talcott Parsons. The results of field research can be concluded that parental support and assistance for children greatly influences the child's recovery rate. The environmental social support that children receive is also through the role of parents who pay attention to their children so that they can achieve better conditions for their children. There are various forms of parental love for children for the sake of the child's recovery, but they are not entirely good for the child's health. For this reason, parents need to understand cancer in order to help children survive the disease. The aim of this research is not only for parents who have children with cancer, but for our understanding so that we can detect cancer early in children so that it can be prevented from the start before it reaches a more serious stage.
