Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Icare Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Peserta Didik Pada Pokok Bahasan Sistem Koloid Kelas XI MIPA SMAN 1 Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the improvement of the ICARE learning model in improving the cognitive learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA at SMAN 1 Pekanbaru on the material of colloidal systems. Experimental research was conducted using pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design, involving two classes as samples. The experimental class was treated with the ICARE learning model, while the control class was not. The results showed that the application of the ICARE model was significant in improving cognitive learning outcomes, with a high increase in learning outcomes (N-gain=0.839). These results are supported by statistical analysis using t-test and SPSS application. The implication of this study is that the ICARE learning model can be an effective learning model in improving cognitive learning outcomes on colloidal system material.
