This research was conducted in Sekar Mawar Village, Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency with the aim of finding out the motivation of women to continue participating in the Elderly Family Development program and to determine the level of activity in participating in the Elderly Family Development program, Sekar Mawar Village, Pasir Penyu District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The method used in this research is a quantitative method which is presented using SPSS 2.5 data. The theory used is David McClland's achievement theory, namely the need for achievement, the need for power and the need for affiliation. The data collection techniques used were observation and questionnaires. The results of this research are that the motivation of elderly women is more dominant in the need for power and need for affiliation compared to the need for power. This is because the aim of elderly people participating in the Elderly Family Development program is to make more friends who can socialize with more people and to train their bodies to be more successful in old age. The level of member activity was measured using three indicators, namely activity in gymnastics, posbindu and events. The results obtained were quite high in the level of activity of the elderly in participating in the program.
