Profil Imunohistokimia Pada Pasien Tumor Mediastinum Di Rsud Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau Tahun 2019 – 2023
Mediastinal tumors are masses in the mediastianum that are rare, but have various histopathological types. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) is necessary to diagnose the type of mediastinal tumors. Here in Indonesia, especially in Riau Province, there is lack of literature regarding mediastinal tumors and IHC for these tumors. This study aims to obtain the IHC profile of mediastinal tumor patients in RSUD Arifin Achmad Riau Province 2019 – 2023. This was a cross-sectional descriptive study. Data were collected from medical records that met the criteria, totalling 51 samples. The results showed most patients with mediastinal tumors at age 20-29 years old (23,5%) and were mostly of males (54,9%). Most tumors were located in the anterior compartement with the most common type being B-cell lymphoma. IHC in thymoma showed Ki67
