Pengetahuan Dan Keterampilan Kader Tentang Kesehatan Dan Pemeriksaan Kesehatan Lansia Di Posyandu Lansia Desa Padang Luas Di Era Pasca Pandemi Covid-19

As the number of elderly people in Indonesia increases, the need for health services also increases. To meet these needs, an elderly posyandu was formed. The implementation of posyandu for the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic did not run as routinely as it should. Like at the elderly posyandu in Padang Luas Village, during the COVID-19 pandemic, elderly posyandu was only carried out 3 times out of the target of 12 times in 2020. Apart from that, the number of elderly people coming to the posyandu also decreased during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the results of interviews, it was found that several elderly posyandu cadres had never received training. Apart from that, during the initial data collection, it was found that cadres were unable to answer questions correctly regarding elderly posyandu and were unable to perform elderly posyandu service skills.
Objective : The aim of this research is to determine the characteristics of cadres, cadres' knowledge about elderly health and the implementation of elderly posyandu, and cadres' skills in carrying out elderly health checks in order to optimize the implementation of elderly posyandu.
Method : This research uses mixed method with research design Descriptive Cross Sectional. The research sample used was 10 elderly Posyandu cadres in Padang Luas Village.
Results : The results of this research found that the majority of elderly posyandu cadres in Padang Luas Village had a poor level of knowledge regarding elderly health and the implementation of elderly posyandu (90%). Apart from that, there are still cadres who lack skills in weighing (60%), measuring abdominal circumference (50%), and health education (60%).
