Kampar River has been widely used by people living in the area for agricultural purposes, fisheries, transportation and settlement by residents. This research was conducted in September-October 2022 in Rantau Baru Village, Pelalawan Regency. Research objectives; Analyze the potential of aquatic resources that have suitability for the development of fishing tourism in Rantau Baru Village; Analyze the carrying capacity of the area needed for fishing tourism in Rantau Baru Village; Calculating the economic value of capture fisheries and fishing tourism businesses in Rantau Baru Village. The method used is the survey method with a quantitative approach. The types of data collected are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and quantitatively using the calculation of Effect on Production (EOP), Travel Cost Method (TCM), and Contingent Valuation Method (CVM). Kampar River in Rantau Baru Village has criteria for the suitability of ecotourism land classified as category S2 (quite appropriate) to be used as a fishing tourism area. The carrying capacity of the fishing tourism area with an area of 4 km2 or 4.000 m2 can accommodate tourists as many as 372 people per day. The economic value of capture fisheries resources in Rantau Baru Village based on the EOP approach is IDR22.034.899/ha/year or IDR22.982.399.657 per year. The economic value of fishing tourism in Rantau Baru Village based on the TCM approach is IDR2.894.969.610 per year or IDR7.237.424/ha/year and based on the CVM approach is IDR100,016,280 per year.
