Attendance has an important role, especially for the Company. For the attendance system at "APRIL LEARNING INSTITUTE PT RAPP" currently the system still uses facial recognition technology (facial features). The weakness of using facial recognition technology is that attendance can only be done at the location where the facial recognition is located, so employees who work in the client's office have to go to the head office first to take attendance. So, we need an attendance system that can detect employee presence online which is connected to the web. For this reason, the author created a web attendance system with the Maps Leaflet JS location feature which can help calculate employee absences in real time and is able to detect employee location points precisely. This attendance application is used to register employees, record employee attendance, and report employee absences. Making this attendance system uses HTML (HyperText Markup Language), PHP programming language and MySQL as a database. Meanwhile, the design uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). This system can make it easier for companies and employees to manage and fill in absences.
