Sistem Presensi Kuliah Menggunakan Sensor Rfid (Radio Frequency Identification)
The lecture attendance system is an important component in academic administration management to ensure student attendance. In this research, we developed a lecture attendance system using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) sensors to increase efficiency and accuracy in recording attendance. This system consists of several main components, namely an RFID module, microcontroller, RTC (Real-Time Clock) module, LCD screen, reset button, and Bluetooth module. The RFID module functions to read the unique identity (UID) from the RFID card owned by each student. When the RFID card is brought close to the sensor, the system will identify the UID and match it with registered student data. The microcontroller will record the attendance time obtained from the RTC module, then display attendance information on the LCD screen. The reset button is used to reset the system and recalculate attendance. Additionally, the system is equipped with a Bluetooth module that enables wireless transmission of attendance data to other devices, such as computers or smartphones, for real-time monitoring. With this feature, lecturers or admins can receive attendance reports directly without needing to physically access the hardware.
