Pengaruh Parameter Spinbath Solution Terhadap Fiber Tenacity, Titer, Dan Elongation
The quality of fiber produced is certainly related to the impact of viscose solution and spinbath solution that creates filament through the regeneration process. Spinbath is a coagulation solution to compact the fibers from wet spinning. The topic described in this final project report is "The Effect of Spinbath Solution Parameters on Fiber Tenacity, Titer, and Elongation" with the objective to determine the effect of spinbath solution parameters on fiber tenacity, titer, and elongation. The data collected was secondary through Plant Information (PI), then analyzed using the Pearson Correlation method using Minitab. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the spinbath solution parameters that affect fiber tenacity are sulphuric acid (H2SO4) concentration with correlation coefficient (r)=0.149, zinc sulphate (ZnSO4) concentration with r=(-0.150), sodium sulphate (Na2SO4) concentration with r=(-0.170), and 2nd bath concentration with r=(-0.156). The resulting fiber titer values are identical or similar that symbolized by r=* and indicate that the spinbath solution parameters do not significantly affect the value of titer changes. Spinbath solution parameters that affect fiber elongation are sulphuric acid (H2SO4) concentration with r=0.718, zinc sulphate (ZnSO4) concentration with r=(-0.458), 2nd bath temperature with r=0.664, and 2nd bath concentration with r=0.670.
