Pengaruh Low Pressure (Lp) Control Steam Terhadap Efisiensi Turbine Unit 7
The steam power plant system is a system of generating electrical energy from converting steam energy produced by water heated in the boiler to produce steam. Then the steam goes to the turbine so that it rotates the turbine rotor and rotor on the generator to produce electrical energy. The definition of turbine efficiency is the ability of the turbine to convert the heat energy contained in the steam into mechanical energy to drive the generator. The back pressure condensing turbine type has a ratio of 1.5: 1 or requires 1.5 steam to produce 1 MW. The purpose of writing the final project is to study and determine the effect of low pressure openings on unit 7 turbine performance. Low pressure control is responsible for ensuring that the pressure at low levels remains within the desired range to maintain optimal performance of the turbine. Based on the results of this analysis, from the data for one month in January 2024, the average efficiency of turbine unit 7 is 74%, based on the RPE manual book, the standard efficiency of the back pressure condensing type turbine is at least 70%, therefore turbine unit 7 is efficient.
