One of the techniques used in urban farming is hydroponics, where plants can be grown without using soil. Hydroponics is a method used in urban farming practices, which allows plants to grow without using soil. The Hydroponics Laboratory is a facility that supports research, experimentation and plant production based on methods of growing plants without using soil as one of the developments in modern agricultural technology. Hydroponic activity facilities already exist in Pekanbaru, but the existing facilities have not been designed optimally for learning and recreation activities. The surrounding community also does not have adequate understanding and awareness of the impact of urban development on the current environment. Therefore, we need a forum that can answer these problems. The design of the Hydroponics Laboratory is a response because it can facilitate learning, educational, research, community, exhibition, training, commercial and urban agricultural procedures in Hydroponics. The design of the Hydroponics Laboratory uses a Biophilic Architecture approach, the design of which is in harmony
