Perancangan Museum Matematika Dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Rekreatif Edukatif
Mathematics, as a universal science that underlies the development of modern technology, plays an important role in various disciplines and enhances human cognitive abilities. Mathematics is also a science acquired through a process of learning. However, nowadays, young generations consider mathematics difficult and boring to learn. The reality is that the current implementation of mathematics education remains conventional, boring, book-bound, and irrelevant to real-world situations. This results in low interest and proficiency in mathematics. Therefore, there is a need for a facility that can integrate mathematics with daily activities. The Mathematics Museum becomes a solution to provide a learning facility for young generations through exploration with interactive displays and games to understand mathematical concepts in an enjoyable way. The Mathematics Museum aims to promote the science of mathematics and inspire a deeper understanding of the subject. The Mathematics Museum is designed with the theme of a Recreational and Educational Architectural approach, which is interpreted as a building that contains educational elements while having a recreational appearance. Recreational and Educational Architecture can accommodate the activities and functions of the building by altering and combining objectives in the design, massing, and spatial layout to increase the attractiveness and interest of visitors towards the building.
