Perancangan Pusat Seni Tari Tradisional Kuantan Singingi Dengan Pendekatan Arsitektur Neo-Vernakular Di Kuantan Singingi
Kuantan Singingi is one of the regencies in Riau Province. The inhabitants of Kuntan Singingi come from various tribes, including the Minangkabau family, Batak transmigration, Javanese, and Chinese. Kuantan Singingi is known for its art and traditions that are still sustainable today. One of the surviving arts is traditional dance, which has various functions such as performing arts, traditional activities, entertainment, education, opening important events, and so on. Dance in Kuantan Singingi has many enthusiasts from young people, as evidenced by the many studios and art activities that are still being carried out, but there is no adequate place or facility. Therefore, a traditional dance center is needed that functions as a place for performance or recreation, education, and development in accordance with the necessary standards and facilities that will later use descriptive and qualitative methods. This traditional dance center will use the Neo-Vernacular Architecture approach as a form of preserving the identity of cultivation and respecting the historical values that exist in Kuantan Singingi in the design of the building design.
