Tambang Subdistrict is one of the largest industrial areas in Kampar Regency, leading to an increase in the population and activities in various sectors, including sports. This growth necessitates facilities to rejuvenate physical fitness after a long day of work or to simply spend leisure time. According to Kampar BPS data from 2023, the sports and recreation infrastructure in Tambang Subdistrict is inadequate, with only three sports halls available for a population of 105,000 Given the limited facilities to support sports and recreational activities in Tambang, there is a need for a facility that can accommodate various sports and recreational activities to alleviate the stress and pressure of the residents. A Sport and Recreation Center can serve as a solution by providing a comprehensive facility for various sports and recreational activities in one area, making it an appropriate solution for developing sports infrastructure in Tambang Subdistrict. Based on this context, it is essential to design a center that meets the needs of the residents of Tambang Subdistrict. This involves creating a sport and recreation center using a Biophilic Architecture approach, which integrates the concept of uniting humans and nature. This design aims to enhance physical comfort and improve the health of the residents of Tambang.
