Evaluasi Kinerja Jaringan Angkutan Umum Menggunakan Software Ptv Vissum (Studi Kasus: Bus Trans Metro Pekanbaru Koridor 2 (Brps – Kulim))
Public transportation is a transportation system provided by the government at an affordable price for all levels of society to meet the needs of the community. One of the tipes of public transportation that is widely available is the bus. The number of passengers that did not experience a significant increase post- pandemic indicates that many bus passengers still use private transportation even though activities have returned to normal post-pandemic. This can happen because the performance quality of bus cannot meet the needs of the community, such as suboptimal coverage areas of stops, requiring passengers to walk quite far, which reduces the interest of the public in using bus, long transfer waiting times that do not meet applicable standards, and long journey time also significantly affect the public's interest in using public transportation. The service quality indicators evaluated in this study are walking distance, transfer waiting time, and journey time. The evaluation is carried out by utilizing PTV Visum for modeling that can help provide more accurate evaluation results. The results obtained from the evaluation of these three service quality indicators are for walking distance with a radius of 500 meters, additional stops can be added between the kopi stop and the pesantren stop on H. Imam Munandar street with 2
Portabel stops, the area is densely populated so additional stops are needed. The evaluation results obtained after modeling transfer waiting time in the existing conditions found that the level of service (LOS) at the walikota stops mostly falls into the poor and very poor categories, modeling in ideal conditions where the headway for each corridor becomes 10 minutes results in LOS falling into the good and very good categories. However, to achieve ideal conditions requires a lot of costs, so trial and error is carried out to obtain effective transfer waiting times with a headway on corridor 01 for 15 minutes with a fleet of 8 units, corridor 02 for 16 minutes with a fleet of 7 units, corridor 4C for 14 minutes with a fleet of 5 units, and corridor 8A for 16 minutes with a fleet of 6 units. Evaluation of journey time on corridor 02 revealed that the journey time on corridor 02 meets the standard so no route changes and travel times are needed on corridor 02.
