Pengembangan E-Modul Problem Based Learning (Pbl) Pada Materi Sistem Pertahanan Tubuh Untuk Meningkatkankemampuan Berpikir Siswa Kelas Xi Sma
The 21st century is the century of openness or the century of globalization. This globalization has an impact that requires everyone to improve their quality so that they are able to compete in the 21st century. The 21st century makes the role of education increasingly important in preparing the next generation who have learning skills, innovation, skills in using technology, information media, and can work and survive using life skills. Problem based learning (PBL) is one method that can be used by educators in an effort to help students become competent in solving problems and facing future challenges. Through problem based learning, students have a positive perception of their learning environment, are more confident and skilled in solving problems, and have better processing skills. Using PBL E- modules in implementing learning can overcome difficulties in learning because it has advantages including: This problem based learning teaching media is able to make it easier to convey difficult concepts so that they are easier to understand so that learning is more interesting.
This research aims to determine the quality of the development of the PBL E-Module on Body Defense System Material and its influence on improving critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of Pekanbaru Sports Public High School students. This research uses the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model. The analysis stage consists of curriculum analysis, student needs analysis, material analysis. The design stage consists of device design, media draft design, validation sheet, pretest and posttest sheet. The development stage contains validity tests, practicality tests and student response tests, while the implementation stage consists of large-scale tests in the form of applying PBL e-modules to body defense system material to improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes.
The results of research on validity show that the average interval of validation scores for material experts is in the very valid category with a mean of 98.43, media experts are very valid with a mean of 95.83 and pedagogical experts are in the very valid category with a mean of 87.50. Then the results of the practicality of the PBL e-module for teachers and students as a whole are classified as very practical in three aspects, namely, average ease of use of 90%, average learning time efficiency of 100% and average benefit of 95%.
The results of research at the implementation stage show that there is a significant influence of the PBL e-module on the body's defense system material to improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes and based on development and implementation tests it was found that the quality of the PBL E- Module on the body's defense system material is to improve critical thinking and student learning outcomes are in the very valid category.
