Pengembangan Media Ajar Interaktif Berbantuan Adobe Flash Pada Materi Ekosistem Mangrove Untuk Meningkatkan Berpikir Kritis Mahasiswa Melalui Metode Kasus
The UNRI Centre of Excellent (CoE): Wetland Ecosystems and Disaster Management is a top priority for the University of Riau with the goal to achieve its vision and purpose. However, after reviewing the content in one of the basic courses, Environmental Sciences and Disaster Mitigation, there is no specific discussion of mangroves as the primary focus. The Environmental Science course is a mandatory subject at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Riau University, and is described as one of the five other courses in the General Courses (MKU) programme at Riau University (COE Determination Decree, Decree of the Chancellor of Riau University no. 4293 /UN19/KPT/2020 13 November 2020), with course code name: MKU 1004 Environmental Science and Disaster Mitigation (ILMB), which consists of two credits in semester2. The University of Riau uses the Outcome focused Education (OBE) curriculum in combination with the Innovative Learning Ecosystem policy and the MBKM Development Innovation Strategy (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka), which requires that every component of teaching be focused on 21st Century abilities. This transition is being carried out to better prepare students' soft and hard skills for the requirements of the twenty-first century. One of the 21st century educational abilities that must be mastered is critical thinking.
The purpose of this study is to examine the quality of interactive educational media developed using Adobe Flash on mangrove ecosystem information, as well as the influence on increasing students' critical thinking abilities. This research was carried out at Riau University's Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. The ADDIE model is used in this study. Curriculum, student needs, material, pedagogical, and technological analysis are all part of the analysis step. The design phase includes device design, media draft design, validation sheet, pretest, and posttest sheets. Validity, practicality, and student reaction testing are all part of the development stage. Meanwhile, the implementation step comprises of a large-scale test in the manner of using interactive educational media helped by Adobe Flash to mangrove The case technique is used to increase pupils' critical thinking abilities.
According to the findings of the validity research, the average score interval for validation results from material experts falls into the valid category in two areas: the average for the learning material aspect is 3.33, and the average for the content aspect is 3.11. The results of the practicality of interactive media assisted by Adobe Flash for lecturers and students as a whole show that interactive media assisted by Adobe Flash is classified as practical in four aspects: the average for the appearance aspect is 84%, the average for the content/material aspect is 85.7%, the average for the learning aspect is 91.6%, and the average for the readability aspect is 83.3%.
The findings of the implementation stage research suggest that interactive media aided by Adobe Flash has a substantial impact on the mangrove

environment in terms of improving students' critical thinking skills using the case method. Based on development and implementation testing, it was discovered that
the quality of interactive media supported by Adobe Flash in the mangrove environment boosted students' critical thinking using the valid category case approach.
