Partisipasi Masyarakat Dalam Program Kota Tanpa Kumuh (KOTAKU) Desa Babussalam Kecamatan Rambah Kabupaten Rokan Hulu
By prioritizing community participation, the KOTAKU program aims to build an integrated slum management system where local governments collaborate with stakeholders in every aspect of planning and implementation. The goal is to see how understanding, involvement, and inclusion impact the Kotaku program. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach, and the aim of this research is to explain the relationship between two variables through sample data from a predetermined population. The independent variable (X) is the impact of participation factors, and the dependent variable (Y) is community participation in the KOTAKU Program in Babussalam Village, Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency. Sampling was carried out using the Slovin formula with a critical value of 10% with the number of samples obtained, namely 31 from 45 populations in RT 004 RW 002 and 38 samples from 60 populations in RT 015 RW 007. The data collection technique used observation, questionnaires and documentation. . The data analysis technique that will be used in this research is the contingency coefficient which is written from the results of cross tabulation. This cross analysis is also obtained by chi-square analysis. Based on the findings, the understanding of the people of Babussalam Village, Rokan Hulu Regency regarding the KOTAKU Program is familiar with the KOTAKU Program. Of the 69 people surveyed in this study, 65.22% said they knew, 14.49% said they knew very well, while 13.04% said they only knew enough, and only 2.90% said they didn't know much. The level of participation of the people of Babussalam Village, Rokan Hulu Regency in implementing the KOTAKU Program is still high, as shown by their involvement in planning the KOTAKU program, including their involvement in decision making and evaluation of the KOTAKU program, as well as good monitoring and maintenance of the program. The following factors influence the level of community participation in implementing the KOTAKU Program: length of stay of the community, high motivation, maximum level of participation of the PKP Working Group in socialization, including village officials who are well involved, and the active role of community leaders. Apart from that, NGOs play a very important role in promoting the KOTAKU program.
