Pembuatan Karbon Aktif Menggunakan Biomassa Bambu Kuning Sebagai Bahan Dasar Superkapasitor Dengan Alat Modifikasi Pra-Karbonisasi
Yellow bamboo stems (BK) have been claimed to contain the natural compound lignicellulose which can be used as an active carbon precursor for supercapacitor electrodes. An easy, environmentally friendly and low-cost research method through a series of integrated drying, crushing, chemical activation and pyrolysis processes. The focus of this research lies in the effect of KOH activator concentrations (0.3, 0.5 and 0.7) M to obtain maximum results. The pyrolysis process is carried out under conditions of carbonization (nitrogen, 600°C) and physical activation (carbon dioxide, 850°C). The aim of this research is to increase the use value of yellow bamboo stem waste as a source of active carbon with beneficial physical properties. The results of this research confirm that BK-0.5 is verified as a sample with maximum physical and electrochemical properties.
