Analisis Daya Saing Dan Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Ekspor Kakao Indonesia
Cocoa beans are Indonesia's mainstay export commodity which is an important contributor to the development of the national economy through international trade. The aim of this research is to analyze the competitiveness of Indonesian cocoa bean exports in international markets and analyze the factors that influence cocoa bean exports to international markets. The data used is time series data for 30 years, namely from 1992-2021. The data analysis method used is a quantitative method with the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) approach which is refined with the Revealed Symmetric Comparative Advantage (RSCA) method and the Export Product Dynamics (EPD) method which is used to measure the competitiveness of Indonesian cocoa beans. The RCA value is greater than 1 and the RSCA value is greater than 0, which indicates that Indonesian cocoa bean exports have strong competitiveness in the international market. The EPD results show that Indonesian cocoa beans exported to India and the Philippines are in the Rising Star position, Malaysia is in the Lost Opportunity position, and China and the United States are in the Retreat position. The Multiple Linear Regression Method is used to determine the factors that influence Indonesian cocoa bean exports on the international market. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that there is a joint influence between the Indonesian cocoa bean production variable, the real international price of cocoa exports and the rupiah exchange rate on export volume, as well as a partial influence between the Indonesian cocoa bean production variable and the rupiah exchange rate on export volume and There is no partial influence between the real international price variable for cocoa exporters on the volume of cocoa bean exports.
