Keanekaragaman Jenis Kupu-Kupu (Rhopalocera) Di Zona Pemanfaatan Taman Nasional Tesso Nilo
Butterflies have a function as a bioindicator of an environment, where if in an area there are still various types of butterflies, it can be categorized as still good environmental quality. This study aims to determine the diversity of butterfly species in the utilization zone of Tesso Nilo National Park. This study used 2 methods, namely, the transect count method and the baited trap method. The transect count method uses 1000 meters of transect lines in each land cover. The baited trap method used banana, pineapple, fish, and mixed fruit jam bait installed at 20 observation points with a distance of 50 meters between points. The results showed that 20 species of butterflies from 3 families were found in Tesso Nilo National Park. The butterfly diversity index is medium ( = 2.73), the wealth index is low ( = 3.28), the equity index is high (E = 0.91).
