The Influence of the Role of Parents on the Entrepreneurial Character of Young Women in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency

The aims of this research are 1) To measure the level of parental role in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, 2) To measure the level of Entrepreneurial Character of Young Women in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, 3) Is there an influence of the Role of Parents on the Entrepreneurial Character of Young Women in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency
This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 87 young women from Sibuak village, Tapung sub-district, Kampar regency. The sampling technique using simple random sampling is a method of drawing from a population or universe in a certain way so that each member of the population has the same opportunity to be selected or taken using the Slovin formula, so the sample is 47 young women.

The writing instrument goes through several stages, namely: 1) reviewing all theories related to the variables to be studied, 2) compiling indicators for each variable, 3) compiling a grid, 4) compiling statement items and determining a measurement scale, 5) instrument testing, 6) analysis of question items by testing the validity and reliability of each statement item.
The data analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis and were carried out using the Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 25 for Windows programs. Descriptive statistical analysis to display respondent data in the form of mean and standard deviation of questionnaire results based on respondent demographics, variables, indicators and number items, then inferential analysis is used to determine the presence of indicators as factors in the research variables. Based on the results of the data analysis and discussion presented in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that the role of parents that occurs among young women in Sibuak Village, Tapung District shows an influence rate of 33%, which means that young women very often get the role of parents in entrepreneurial activities. The level of entrepreneurial character of young women shows an influence of 25%, which means that the level of entrepreneurial character of young women is quite high. There is an influence of the role of parents on the entrepreneurial character of young women in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, amounting to 53%, while the remaining 47% is influenced by other variables not mentioned in this research.
