Penerapan Media Pembelajaran Audiovisual Dalam Upaya Meningkatnya Motivasi Dan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Mata Pelajaran Pjok Kelas Vii Smp Daniel
The problem in this research is the low cognitive results of students in the PJOK subject of basketball material due to the lack of variety of learning media used by teachers in this subject. Apart from that, due to the lack of field facilities for learning PJOK in this school, many students do not understand the technical movements of PJOK material, therefore the aim of this research is to improve learning outcomes through the application of audio-visual learning media so that students understand more about theory and PJOK learning practice. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research were class VII students at Daniel Pekanbaru Middle School for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 20 students. Data sources come from teachers and students. The data collection techniques used were pre-test and post-test. The data analysis used is comparative descriptive statistical analysis, quantitative data analysis, and qualitative data analysis. Research procedures include stages (a) planning, (b) action, (c) observation, (d) reflection. Based on research results, the application of audio-visual learning media through preparation steps, media use, evaluation and follow-up can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. This is proven by the average student score in the pre-cycle of 62.5 with a completion percentage of 35%, in cycle I the average student score increased to 70.5 with a completion percentage of 45%, and in cycle II the average student score increased to 81.92 with a completion percentage of 80%. The conclusion of this research is that the application of audio-visual learning media can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes in class VII PJOK subjects at Daniel Pekanabru Middle School for the 2023/2024 academic year.
