Analisis Pelaksanaan Praktikum Biologi Pada Kurikulum Merdeka Di Kelas Xi Sma Negeri 8 Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the implementation of biology practicum in the independent curriculum in class XI SMA. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru in September-November 2023. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research and the method used is a survey method. The population in this study were all class XI students at SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru and biology teachers. The sampling technique used was the Purposive Sampling technique, namely class XI MIPA students who had carried out Biology practicum activities with a total of 160 people from 4 classes, namely: class. Data collection techniques used closed questionnaires for class XI MIPA students, structural observations to describe the practical implementation carried out, and closed interviews for class XI Biology teachers. Closed questionnaire data and structured observations were analyzed quantitatively descriptively. Interview data was analyzed descriptively to be used as supporting data in describing the Biology practicum activities carried out. Practicum activities consist of four indicators, including: planning, preparation and implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. The results of the research show that the implementation of biology practicum in the independent curriculum in class, and follow-up in the sufficient category (68%). The factor that influences the implementation of practicum is the implementation time. It can be concluded that the implementation of biology practicum in the independent curriculum in class XI of SMA Negeri 8 Pekanbaru is in the good category with an average score of 80%.
