Analisis Rantai Pasok Telur Ayam Ras Di Kota Pekanbaru
Eggs layer chicken are a fundamental dietary requirement that must be consistently available. Eggs serve as a significant nutritional contributor for the community, originating from animal protein. This research aims to identify the distribution patterns of layer chicken eggs, explain the supply chain mechanisms of layer chicken eggs, and analyze the marketing efficiency in the layer chicken egg supply chain. This study was conducted in the city of Pekanbaru. The sample in this research consisted of 14 layer chicken egg marketers in Pekanbaru, selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and quantitatively descriptive using marketing margin and marketing efficiency formulas. The results of the study indicate that there are four distribution patterns of layer chicken eggs in Pekanbaru: distribution pattern 1 consists of farmers, retailers, and final consumers; distribution pattern 2 consists of farmers and final consumers; distribution pattern 3 consists of suppliers, wholesalers, retailers, and final consumers; distribution pattern 4 consists of suppliers, wholesalers, and final consumers. The flows occurring throughout the layer chicken egg supply chain in Pekanbaru include product flow, information flow, and financial flow. The layer chicken egg supply chain in Pekanbaru is generally considered efficient, with the efficiency values of each distribution pattern as follows: distribution pattern 1 has an efficiency value of 2.60%; distribution pattern 2 has an efficiency value of 1.20%; distribution pattern 3 has an efficiency value of 2.70%; distribution pattern 4 has an efficiency value of 1.70%.
