Pengembangan E-Modul Berbasis Problem Based Learning (Pbl) Untuk Melatih Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Pada Materi Perubahan Lingkungan Kelas X Sma

This research aims to produce an e-module based on problem based learning (PBL) to train students' critical thinking skills on quality environmental change material for class X SMA. This research was carried out at the Biology Education Study Program, FKIP, University of Riau, SMAN 8 Pekanbaru, and SMAN 10 Pekanbaru in August-November 2023. This type of research is development (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model, which consists of the analysis, design, and development stages. and development. At the analysis stage, what is carried out is analyzing the curriculum, students and materials. The design stage is designing learning tools and e-modules. The development stage is developing an e-module product based on problem based learning, carrying out validation and limited trials in stages I and II of the e-module. Data from validation and limited trials were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The research results show that the e-module validation obtained an average score of 3.48 with a very valid category. The phase I limited trial obtained an average score of 3.66 in the very good category and the phase II limited trial obtained an average score of 3.68 in the very good category. The quality of the e-module received an average score of 3.6 in the very good category. The results of the N-Gain test to determine the effectiveness of e-modules in training students' critical thinking skills are at a medium level with a score of 0.54. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the electronic module based on problem based learning to train students' critical thinking skills on environmental change material for class X SMA that has been developed has very good quality and can be used as an alternative learning source.
