Perilaku Dalam Berorganisasi Mahasiswa Fisip Universitas Riau
This research aims to understand the perceptions of apathetic students towards organizational roles and the factors influencing apathetic behavior in student organizations, based on Morris Rosenberg's theory. This study is a quantitative research with descriptive analysis. The population in this study consists of all FISIP students at the University of Riau who have no experience as organizational administrators, both on and off-campus, totaling 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is total sampling, with a sample size of 100 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by distributing research questionnaires both directly and online using Google Forms. The data obtained were then processed using SPSS 25 software. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive perception among apathetic students towards organizations, with a significant figure of 70.0%. This shows that although there are students who are reluctant to participate in organizational activities, the majority of them have a positive view on the importance of being involved in organizations. The factors influencing apathetic behavior are dominated by the risk factor of fear of disturbing academic performance, the knowledge factor related to students' understanding and information about the benefits and ways of organizing, the environmental factor of having a competitive environment resulting in a lack of a comfortable setting, and the support factor involving support from family or close friends affecting students' interest in actively participating in organizations.
