Partisipasi Masyarakat Terhadap Program Bank Sampah Mutiara Di Kelurahan Tuah Karya Kecamatan Tuahmadani Kota Pekanbaru
Waste is a problem that is not only the responsibility of the government, but also of the entire community because every human activity produces waste. One of the environmentally sound waste management solutions is the Mutiara Waste Bank located in Tuah Karya Village, Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City. The theory used in this research is by Keith Davis. The purpose of this study was to determine the form and level of community participation in the Mutiara waste bank program. The research method used was descriptive quantitative and used a questionnaire as the main tool for collecting data. The population in this study were customers of the pearl waste bank. The determination of the number of samples was carried out by applying the census method with a total of 124 respondents and using IBM SPSS 25 for data processing. Based on the results of this study, it is known that the participation of waste bank members in the form of thoughts, energy, goods, and expertise is relatively high, except for participation in the form of money which is relatively low. Furthermore, the level of participation of thoughts is high, the level of participation of energy is high, the level of participation of expertise is quite relatively low, the level of participation in the form of goods is quite relatively high, and the level of participation in the form of money of waste bank members is low.
