Gambaran Klinis Dan Laboratorium Pasien Artritis Septik Di RSUD Arifin Achmad Tahun 2019-2022
Septic arthritis is a secondary inflammatory joint disease due to bacterial, viral or fungal infections. This joint inflammation causes the joints to swell, resulting in reduced blood flow and the tissue in the joints becomes damaged. The aim of this study is to determine the clinical and laboratory features of septic arthritis patients at Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province for the period January 2019 - December 2022. The study method is descriptive using the total sampling method. This study data uses secondary data, from medical records collected cross-sectionally on all septic arthritis patients. The number of samples was 19 medical records of patients with a diagnosis of septic arthritis. The variables observed were age, gender, clinical features, C-Reactive Protein, leukocytes, erythrosyte sedimen taion rate and joint fluid cultur. The results showed that the most patient's age (31.6%) was < 20 and 20-39 years old, the dominant gender was male, about 10 (52.6%), and the main complaint was joint pain, namely 19 (100%). Blood leukocytes increased in 12 patients (63.2%), CRP levels increased in 9 patients (47.4%), ESR levels increased in 7 patients (36.8%) and culture examination showed Gram negative bacteria in 1 patient ( 5.3%).
