EVALUASI JUMLAH STASIUN HUJAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE STEPWISE PADA WILAYAH SUNGAI KAMPAR
In waterworks planning efforts, the hydrological component is very important. The
main component in hydrology is rainfall data, rain stations that are tasked with
recording rainfall data. To obtain quality hydrological data, it is necessary to
evaluate the number of rain posts that are evenly distributed to represent the
hydrological conditions of the area of influence. This study was conducted in the
Kampar River Basin AWLR Danau Bingkuang which has an area of 4920 km2 with
the number of rain posts spread as many as 3 rain posts, annual rain data for 10
years as an independent variable and annual discharge data for 10 years as a
dependent variable. Analysis of the evaluation of the number of rain posts was
carried out using the stepwise method and the WMO (World Meteorogical
Organization) standard for the Kampar River Basin AWLR Danau Bingkuang. This
stepwise method is a statistical method that can find out which rain posts have a
significant correlation to the estimated water post. WMO standards can determine
the minimum requirement for the number of existing rain posts based on the
geographic characteristics of an area. From the analysis of the evaluation of the
number of rain posts, the stepwise method recommends 1 rain post, the results of
this evaluation have not met the WMO standard because the recommended rain
post is 6. For the stepwise-enter method, a combination of 3 rain posts was
obtained, Pasar Kampar Rain Post, Silam Rain Post, and Batu Bersurat Rain Post
with a correlation value of 0.608 with Lake Bingkuang AWLR.
