ANALISIS KINERJA JARINGAN IRIGASI SUNGAI PAKU KECAMATAN KAMPAR KIRI
The conversion of land that occurred in the upstream part of the weir into fish
ponds and oil palm plantations as well as the irrigation network not being
maintained resulted in a lot of damage to buildings and irrigation channels in the
Paku River irrigation network which resulted in the water discharge being small,
as a result, rice fields in the downstream areas experienced water shortages to
irrigate rice fields. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the performance of the
irrigation network and appropriate maintenance methods based on the condition of
the irrigation network. The results of this research show that the main building in
the form of a weir has a performance value of 66,80% which is included in the
medium performance condition and the weir doors have a performance value of
68,85% which is also included in medium performance so that periodict repair
maintenance needs to be carried out in a corrective manner. Meanwhile, the right
primary irrigation channel of the Paku River has a performance value of 78,30%,
including medium performance, so periodic maintenance needs to be caried out in
a corrective manner. And for the tapping building on the right primary channel, it
has a performance value of 55,63%, which is in a poor performance condition so
that periodic maintenance needs to be caried out in the form of heavy repairs or
replacement.
