PENGARUH LATIHAN SIDE TO SIDE BOX SHUFFLE TERHADAP EXPLOSIVE POWER OTOT TUNGKAI PADA TIM BOLA VOLI PUTRA SMA NEGERI 3 RAMBAH HILIR
The problem in this research is the lack of explosive power in the muscles when smashing and blocking on the men's volleyball team at SMA Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir. Based on the problem, the researcher provided side to side box shuffle exercises. This research aims to determine the effect of side to side box shuffle training on the explosive power of muscle spasms in the men's volleyball team at SMA Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir, so that when performing smash and block jumps they get maximum jumping results. The form of this research is experimental research, with a population of male volleyball players at SMA Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir. The data in this research is the entire population of 10 people. The instrument used in this research was the vertical jump test, which aims to measure muscle strength in the vertical direction. After that, the data was processed statistically to test normality with the Lilifors test at the significance level α (0.05). The hypothesis proposed is that there is an influence of Side To Side box Shuffle training on muscle explosive power and fitness. Based on statistical data analysis, there is a pre-test average of 51.40 and a post-test average of 54.40, so the data is normal with an increase of 3.0. Based on the test analysis, Tcount is 0.1620 and Ttable is 0.258, meaning Tcount < Ttable. Thus, there is an effect of side to side box shuffle training on the explosive power of the leg muscles in the men's volleyball team at SMA Negeri 3 Rambah Hilir.
