Perbedaan Hasil Tangkapan Ikan Bubu Naga Siang dan Malam di Perairan Desa Pamak Kecamatan Tebing Kabupaten Karimun Provinsi Kepulauan Riau
Each species of fish has different behaviors during the day and night, so the chances of being caught are different. This study aims to determine the difference in catch at different times of day and night on bubu naga fishing gear in the waters of Pamak Village, Tebing District, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands using a survey method. The number of catches during the day was 17.14 kg (413 fish) and the number of catches at night was 24.44 kg (558 fish). In the calculation of the t-test showing that Thit is larger than Ttab based on the hypothesis, H1 is accepted, this states that there is a difference in daytime and nighttime catches. There is an influence of current speed on the catch, it can be proven by conducting linear regression analysis that the results obtained during the day the correlation value of x and y is 0.815, including the strong category, the determination value of 0.641. The significance value, alpha = 0.05 or 5% so that it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the x and y variables. While the results at night were obtained, the correlation value of x and y was 0.862, including the strong category, the determination value of 0.726.
