Pola Penggunaan Obat Antituberkulosis Pada Pasien Tuberkulosis Paru Di Puskesmas Rejosari Kota Pekanbaru Tahun 2022 – 2023
Antituberculosis drugs are a combination of antibiotics used to treat tuberculosis, both pulmonary and extrapulmonary tuberculosis. The use of anti-TB drugs must comply with several principles that have been regulated in the National TB Medical Guidelines 2021 by the Indonesian Ministry of Health, including a combination at least 4 types of drugs, the appropriate drug dose, treated for 6 months consisting of initial and continuation phases, also direct observation by the Drug Ingestion Supervisor. The use of anti-TB drugs often causes side effects which is one of the factors why patients are not adhere during treatment. This research is a descriptive study to determine the profile of antituberculosis drug use in pulmonary TB patients at Rejosari primary health center, Pekanbaru city in 2022-2023. This research sample used 106 medical records of pulmonary TB patients who met the criteria. The research results were obtained from 106 samples, the OAT combination for 106 patients (100%) was first line, the drug dose was appropriate for 100 patients (92,5%), the duration of treatment was appropriate for 80 patients (75,5%), the application of PMO was appropriate for 104 patients (98,1%), and anti-TB drug side effects were experienced by 8 patients (7,5%).
