Gambaran Surat Keterangan Kematian di RS Bhayangkara Pekanbaru Pasca Diberlakukannya Pedoman Pengisian Surat Keterangan Kematian Tahun 2016
Death is the permanent loss of all signs of life, where death is an event that will
be experienced by all humans. The death that occurs will result in the loss of social and legal rights and obligations, in this case a letter is needed as proof of a
deceased person, namely a Death Certificate. SKK must be made in accordance
with the format and provisions listed in the guidelines for filling out death
certificates issued by the Ministry of Health, so that it can be reported clearly and
can be one of the conditions for the creation of a Death Certificate and a form of
reporting to the civil registration office, but there are still many hospitals that do
not implement these provisions. The purpose of this study is to find out how the SKK description is contained in Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru. This research was carried out using the sequentional explanatory method which was preceded by a quantitative method and continued with a qualitative method, The number of
samples used in this study was 245 samples, then in-depth interviews were
conducted with parties related to the making of SKK at Bhayangkara Hospital
Pekanbaru after the enactment of the filling guidelines. The results of the study
obtained the percentage of suitability of the death certificate format at
Bhayangkara Hospital compared to the filling guidelines at 68.75% format
conformity and 65.16% completeness of filling. Doctors, medical personnel and
staff related to the creation of SKK, are aware of the existence of these guidelines and Bhayangkara Hospital has been implementing them since 2017.
