Pengaruh Pemberian Getah Pepaya dengan Dosis yang Berbeda pada Pakan Terhadap Pertumbuhan Ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) dengan Sistem Resirkulasi
This research was conducted for 60 days from March to May 2024 at the Laboratory of Aquaculture Technology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Riau University. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of papaya sap with different doses in feed on tilapia growth with a recirculation system, as well as to determine the best dose of papaya gum to increase tilapia growth. The research method used is an experimental method by adding papaya sap to pellet feed with different doses, which is carried out using a completely randomized design (CRD) with each treatment repeated 3 times. The treatments in this study were P0: Without treatment (Control), P1: Addition of papaya sap 3 g /100 g feed, P2: Addition of papaya sap 3.25 g /100 g feed, P3: Addition of papaya sap 3.50 g /100 g feed, and P4: Addition of papaya sap 3.75 g /100 g feed. The best treatment was P4 (3.75g) which could increase absolute weight growth by 10,79±0,48, absolute length growth by 4,17±0,23, specific growth rate by 5,15±0,11, feed efficiency by 63,70±2,22, feed conversion ratio by 1,55±0,04 and feed digestibility by 52.83%. Tilapia survival showed no significant effect and the best survival in P4 (3.75g) was 98%. Water quality parameters during the study obtained temperature ranged from 27.2-27.6o C. pH ranged from 6.9 - 7.0. DO ranged from 4,3-4,4 mg/L and ammonia ranged from 0.00145-0.00157 mg/L.
