Interaksi Antar Stakeholder Dalam Pengembangan Ekowisata Mangrove Di Desa Kuala Alam Kabupaten Bengkalis
Indonesia has extensive mangrove ecosystems, with a coastline length of 95,181 km. However, in the period 2011-2021, the area of mangroves in Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province has decreased, from 40,916 ha in 2011 to 26,810.21 ha in 2021 due to coastal abrasion and conversion of forest areas. Local initiatives have emerged in utilizing mangrove resources by ensuring the sustainability of the ecosystem through ecotourism. The purpose of this study was to identify stakeholders and determine the relationship between stakeholders in the development of mangrove ecotourism in Kuala Alam Village, Bengkalis Regency. Research data were collected through: observation, interviews, and document studies. Data analysis was done descriptively qualitative. Based on the results of the study there are five stakeholder groups in the development of mangrove ecotourism, namely: Community; Forest Farmers Group (KTH) and tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis). Academic; Bengkalis State Polytechnic, Bogor Agricultural University, and Riau University. Government; Riau Province Marine and Fisheries Service, Bengkalis Island Forest Management Unit, Bengkalis Regency Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports Office, Village Consultative Body, Village Head. Business; Village-Owned Enterprises and Media; Prokopim Bengkalis. The relationship between stakeholders in the development of mangrove ecotourism in Kuala Alam Village is dominated by coexistence (no communication), and conflict between the village head and KTH, causing failure in the development of ecotourism in the mangroves of Kuala Alam Village.
