Hubungan Nuliparitas Terhadap Kejadian Preeklampsia Dengan Penyulit di RSUD Arifin Achmad Tahun 2019-2022
Background : The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is still high globally, especially in developing countries. In Indonesia, hypertension during pregnancy, including preeclampsia, is a leading cause of high maternal mortality rates, with a prevalence of preeclampsia at RSUD Arifin Achmad of 28.12% from 2019 to 2022. Nulliparity is one of the risk factors for preeclampsia, and to date, there has been no research on the relationship between nulliparity and the incidence of preeclampsia in Riau Province. This study aims to analyze that relationship at RSUD Arifin Achmad from 2019 to 2022.
Method : This research is an observational analytical study with a retrospective cohort design.using secondary data from the medical records of preeclampsia patients at RSUD Arifin Achmad, Riau Province, from 2019-2022. The research location is at the Medical Records Installation of RSUD Arifin Achmad, conducted from July to November 2024. The research population consists of all preeclampsia patients during that period, using total sampling technique on medical records that meet the inclusion criteria.
Results: The results of this study included 1861 pregnant women, of which 361 pregnant women (19.4%) experienced preeclampsia. The inclusion results yielded
356 individuals, with 303 pregnant women with preeclampsia (85.1%) experiencing preeclampsia with complications. In terms of parity, there were 114 cases (32.1%) nullipara and 242 cases (67.9%) multipara. The results of the analysis using Fisher's Exact test showed a p-value ≥ 0.05, indicating no significant relationship between nulliparity and the incidence of preeclampsia with complications.
Conclusion: The prevalence of preeclampsia at RSUD Arifin Achmad is 361 people (19.4%), with 303 pregnant women (85.1%) experiencing preeclampsia with complications. The analysis results show no significant relationship between nulliparity and the incidence of preeclampsia with complications.
