Evaluasi Modul Evidence Based Medicine Berbasis Learning Management System Berdasarkan Usability Pada Mahasiswa Kedokteran Universitas Riau
Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) is a crucial component of modern medical education. To facilitate mastery of this topic, accessible learning media is essential for all students at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Riau. This study aims to evaluate the usability of an EBM module developed using a Learning Management System (LMS). A mixed-method sequential explanatory approach was employed, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. The study involved 60 students from the 2021 cohort of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Riau, selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using an adapted questionnaire by Arnold M. Lund, covering four main variables: usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning, and satisfaction. The results showed that no students rated the module's usability as very poor or poor. A neutral rating was given by 6.7% of respondents, while 41.7% rated the module as adequate, and 51.7% considered it highly adequate. Qualitative findings highlighted that the module's strengths lie in its usefulness and ease of learning, enhancing the LMS's effectiveness in improving students' understanding of EBM. In conclusion, the LMS-based EBM module was deemed suitable based on its usability aspects. Its advantages in usefulness and ease of learning position it as an effective learning tool to support medical education.
