Analisis Usaha Alat Tangkap Jaring Insang Di Kelurahan Teluk Meranti Kecamatan Teluk Meranti Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau

The gill net is a rectangular fishing gear with the same mesh size and is a commonly used by fishermen in Teluk Meranti Village. This study was aimed to determine the total investment, revenue and profit, and to analyze the business feasibility of gill net fishing gear in Teluk Meranti Village. This study used a survey method with sample selection using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used is by calculating Total Investment (TI), Gross Income (GI) and Net Income (NI), as well as calculating financial feasibility such as Revenue Cost of Ratio (R/C), Financial Rate of Return (FRR), and Payback Period of Capital (PPC). The results of research showed that the investment spent by gillnet fishermen was IDR 22,163,152, gross income was IDR 48,511,818 and net income was IDR 20,986,929 per year. The analysis conducted shows that the fishing business with gill net in Teluk Meranti Village is feasible to continue because the R/C value > 1, namely 1.769 and the FRR value of 95.496% or greater than the current bank deposit interest rate of 3%. The PPC value is 1.069, indicating that the investment in this business can be returned for 1 years and 24 days.
