Dampak Wisata Bahari Terhadap Pendapatan Pelaku Usaha Sekitar Pantai Kata Di Kota Pariaman Provinsi Sumatera Barat

Kata Beach is one of the marine tourism activities in Pariaman City. The existence of marine tourism activities at Kata Beach will have an impact on the surrounding community. The impact that arises from a tourism activity is the emergence of direct, indirect and continuous economic impacts. The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of marine tourism on the income of the community around Kata Beach. The method used in this study is a survey method with a quantitative approach and uses a multiplier effect analysis. In this study, there were four respondents, namely traders, parking attendants, laborers and visitors who were around Kata Beach because the population was considered to have met the criteria in the study. The results of the study were obtained, namely (1) The income of the community around the beach consists of net income and gross income arising from the sale of merchandise, products or services that are directly related to the main business in Kata Beach before being deducted by expenses. (2) The impact that occurred after the existence of Kata beach tourism on the economy of the people of Taluk village, Pariaman City, was a change in the livelihood of the surrounding community due to the emergence of new jobs in the tourism sector and an increase in the income of the surrounding community as a business actor. (3) The value of the double impact of Kata Beach Marine tourism on the community's economy is the value of the local income multiplier keynesian value of 1.89, the value of the type I income multiplier ratio of 1.37 and the value of the type II income multiplier ratio of 1.39. This shows that Kata Beach Marine tourism can have an economic impact on the surrounding community, especially on the income of the people of Taluk village, Pariaman City, where this has been explained by META (2001) if the multiplier effect value is more or equal to one (≥1), then tourism activities are able to have an economic impact on the tourist area, especially on the income of the surrounding community.
