This study is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to determine the function of Karang Taruna in increasing the moral awareness of young people in Koto Ringin Village. The subjects in this study were people who were directly involved in providing information to researchers, consisting of 5 people. The instruments used in this study were observation, documentation and interviews. Based on the results of the analysis carried out on the observation guidelines, questionnaires and assisted by interviews and documentation on activities carried out by Karang Taruna Kampung Koto Ringin, it was found that it was proven that from the activities organized by Karang Taruna, it was quite effective in changing various bad habits for the better, fostering enthusiasm for the younger generation, and becoming a good social transformation for the community in the environment where they are located. several obstacles are also things that need to be considered, some of the young people themselves are already in college, working and some are already married. So to run the work program. carrying out activities is hampered because the administrators find it very difficult to divide their time. However, this can be overcome by involving more youth who are not included in the management of Karang Taruna Timbuseng so that they do not feel left out and the activities of Karang Taruna Tuah Pinang run well.
