Pengaruh Kecerdasan Sosial Terhadap Partisipasi Anggota Karang Taruna Dalam Kegiatan Pemuda Desa Sibuak Kecamatan Tapung Kabupaten Kampar

This research aims to find out 1) To find out how high is the level of social intelligence of Karang Taruna members in youth activities in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency 2) To find out how high is the level of participation of Karang Taruna members in youth activities in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency 3) To find out the influence of social intelligence on participation of youth organization in youth activities in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency.
This type of research is ex-post facto with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 131 members of the Youth Organization of Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. This sampling method is because the respondent population is considered homogeneous, namely Karang Taruna members. Using the Yamane formula, , the sample is 100 karang taruna members.
The data collection methods for thid research are 1) observation, 2) questionnaires, and 3) documentation. This research instrument consists of two questionnaires, namely social intelligence and participation questionnaires. The writing indtrument goes through several stages, namely 1) reviewing all theories related to the variables to be studied, 2) compiling indicators for each variable, 3) compiling a grid, 4) compiling statement items and establishing a meansurement scale, 5) trial of the instrument, 6) analysis of the question items by testing the validity and reliability of each statement item.
Based on the analysis of the demographic factors of the respondents, the participation variable obtained high results with a mean value of 4.40, then on the demographics of the respondents, the social intelligence variable obtained a mean balue of 4.41 with a high interpretation. So it can be said that the social intelligence of members of the Sibuak Village Youth Organization, Tapung District, Kampar Regency is high. Then, Based on descriptive statistical analysis of each variable, the participation variable obtained a mean value of 4.41 with a high interpretation, and for the social intelligence variabel the mean value obtained was 4.43 with a high interpretation. It can be said that the participation of youth organizations in youth activities in Sibuak Village Tapung District, Kampar Tinggi Regency.
The results of this research show that there is an influence of social intelligence on the participation of youth organizations in youth activities in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, amounting to 27.5 %.
