Konsentrasi Particulate Matter (PM) dan Kelembapan Udara Di Ruangan Picu RSUD Arifin Achmad Provinsi Riau
Air is a vital necessity for living beings, especially humans. Indoor air quality is important to monitor because the majority of people spend about 90% of their time indoors. One parameter for assessing air quality is particulate matter (PM). Based on their size, PM is classified into two types: PM2.5 and PM10. In addition, air humidity plays a crucial role in maintaining comfort and health in the environment. This study aims to measure the concentration of PM2.5, PM10, and air humidity in the PICU room of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. This research is a descriptive observational study with a longitudinal and time-series design. The study was conducted by measuring the concentrations of PM2.5, PM10, and air humidity at morning, afternoon, and evening times over 14 consecutive days in the PICU room of Arifin Achmad Hospital, Riau Province. The results showed that the concentrations of PM2.5 and PM10 in the morning were higher than in the afternoon and evening, with the highest values being 33.65 µg/m³ for PM2.5 and 55.41 µg/m³ for PM10. Meanwhile, the air humidity at night was higher than in the afternoon and morning, with values of 61.47%, 60.78%, and 60.06%, respectively. The concentrations of PM2.5 and PM10 still met the standard quality benchmarks, but the air humidity exceeded the established quality standards.
