Dinamika Fluktuasi Harga Tbs Dan Cpo Terhadap Harga Minyak Goreng Di Provinsi Riau
The increase in cooking oil prices has become a problem faced by Indonesian consumers in recent years. The increase in cooking oil prices is suspected to be caused by its higher price in the international market so that producers are more interested in selling abroad. As a result, the inventory in the domestic market has decreased. In terms of supply, the raw material for cooking oil is olein, which is a derivative product of palm oil and palm fruit. Do fluctuations in palm oil and palm fruit prices affect the production and price of cooking oil? This study aims to analyze the influence of fluctuations in palm oil and palm fruit prices on cooking oil production and prices. The data used in this study is time series data. The analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression, namely the price of cooking oil as the dependent variable and the price of FFB and CPO as the independent variable. The supply chain system begins with the harvesting of FFB in oil palm plantations, which is then transported to the factory for processing into crude palm oil. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the price of FFB and CPO had a significant effect on the price of cooking oil with a determination coefficient value of 64.1%.
